Vista College - Success Stories

Locations:
Clearfield, UT
Claudia Martinez; Medical Assistant
West Side Medical

Claudia was working at Down to Earth Natural Foods as a produce manager.  She was disappointed with her current lifestyle and started to research career schools.  She expressed interest over the internet and within 2 hours was contacted by an Admissions Rep.  This impressed her so she enrolled in the Medical Assistant Program.  She would like to tell future students to dedicate your time, focus hard and if you enjoy what you are doing you will become successful!  What she enjoyed most was the support and encouragement from fellow student and staff.   "I also have a language barrier and the instructors were very patient and supported me every step of the way."
Leah Antholz; Massage Therapist
Grass Roots Salon

Leah was working as a server at a restaurant and wanted to become a Massage Therapist.  She really liked the interview process she went through and felt a great energy about the atmosphere here at Vista College.  She feels it was worth every hour she spent here and it was such a great feeling to walk out the door with a new career ahead of her!  She would like to thank the staff and instructors for their support and friendliness and a special thanks to Carson Young; Massage Therapy Instructor, for his training and encouragement!
Aubrey Berrett; Medical Office Specialist
Smith & Dillon Billing

Aubrey had been recently laid off from her job and she was looking to start a new career.  She had heard great things about Vista College and enrolled in the Medical Office Specialist Program.  She said everyone was so nice here which made her experience a lot of fun, but very educational!
Jessica Quade; Medical Assistant
Layton Tanner Clinic

Jessica was a soon to be new mom and was anxious about starting a new career.  She was very interested in pursuing a Medical Assistant Career and enrolled at Vista College.  She would like to tell future students that it was definitely worth it and to continue to work hard as it pays off!  She loved the hands on training as it prepared her well to enter the medical field with confidence in her skills learned here at school!
Nikita Hunter; Dental Assistant
Summit Dental

Nikita was working at Albertson's and decided she wanted to pursue a career in the Dental Field.  She enrolled in the Dental Assisting Program here at Vista College because she liked the thought that it was full time, Monday through Thursday schedule, not self-paced and had an instructor based curriculum.  She enjoyed having one on one time with the instructors in the dental classes.  She would like to express to new students to go for their goal if this is something you really want!  She is excited about her new career!
Brittany Davis; Medical Assistant
Ogden Clinic

Brittany was working full time as a Unit Clerk and team lead at an Ear Nose & Throat office. When she came in and met with the Admissions Representative, she just loved the atmosphere and how much Vista College cares about the success of their Students. Everyone was friendly. She would like to tell a new student that going to Vista College was the best thing that she has ever done. The instructor and staff are very involved in the success of the students. They make sure you understand the material you need to know, if you have questions, they will explain it until you understand.
Judy Holbrook; Dental Assistant
Dr Creager Family Dentistry

Judy was working at a Day Spa part time. Just wasn't working for her. Now she is working for Dr Creager and enjoying every minute of it. The reason she chose Vista College was the length of the programs and the schedule.  She would like to let future students know that they will love the instructors; they made everything fun. She loved the Vista College experience.
Teresa Corbell; Medical Office Specialist
Skyline Pain Clinic

Teresa was working as a cook/cashier at McKay Dee Hospital when she decided to come to Vista College. She chose Vista College's Medical Office Specialist Program because of the fast track that got her done and graduated in 7 ½ months.  She would like to tell future students to be prepared to study, but it's worth it in the long run. What she liked most was the instructors and the atmosphere.  Teresa liked it so much at Vista College that she has enrolled in the Medical Assisting program after finishing the Medical Office Specialist Program.
Shannon Seward; Medical Assistant
Rocky Mountain Woman's Clinic

Shannon was a stay at home mom wondering if she should return to school or not.  She decided to come to Vista College after looking at other schools.  The main reason was because of the small classes and the personalized instruction.  What Shannon liked most about Vista College were the instructors and other students. "The fun part is the lab and just learning about the medical field."
Amy Clapp; Massage Therapist
Body Success

Amy was working phone sales and just wanted out.  She really liked the interview process she went through with the admissions reps at Vista College. She feels it was worth every hour she spent here and got a valuable experience from it. When asked what she liked most, she stated "Everything"!!!
Nikki Mitchell; Medical Office Specialist
Ogden Clinic

Nikki was working in the Human Resource Department at IRS when she decided to come to Vista College.  A friend encouraged her to enroll in the Medical Office Specialist Program.  She would like to tell future students to hang in there and don't give up, no matter how hard it gets. What she liked most was the instructors and the atmosphere.  Plus it's close to home and a fast program!
