
Vista College prepares students with the skills they need for a career as a Nurse
Assistant Home Health Aide. The classes required for this certification program
teach the procedures in caring for patients who are homebound, in hospitals,
or living in long-term care facilities. Students will learn how to interact with
patients and assist them in basic care needs while maintaining patient rights.
Students will be prepared to pass Texas state certification after technical school
with the abilities to perform CPR, basic first aid, and take vital signs.
