Vista College’s Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program prepares graduates to be on the frontlines of patient care. The 9-week program teaches students how to perform basic first aid, CPR, take vital signs and apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting and turning patients. The theory, labs and clinical externships give graduates the skills and knowledge needed to pass Nurse Assistant certification tests and find entry level positions in nursing and convalescent health care facilities, hospitals and doctor’s offices.
