That’s why your personal Financial Aid Counselor in our College Financial Services office can guide you through every step of the process to determine if you qualify for financial aid awards.
Students who qualify for college financial services often receive financial aid awards from:
- Federal Pell Grant, which is not a loan, so it does not have to be repaid.
- Federal Student Loans, which starts by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Your Financial Aid Counselor can help guide you through the process.)
- Federal Parent Plus Loans, which provide affordable financing to parents and guardians with good credit to cover tuition, school supplies, housing and educational costs.
- Military or Veteran Benefits, also known as the G.I. Bill, which helps those who have served obtain the education needed to launch new civilian careers.
That’s just an example of the grants, scholarships and financial aid services for which you may qualify.
With the help of your Financial Aid Officer, finding out if you qualify for a grant or scholarship and financial aid may not be as difficult as you think.
As a matter of fact, you can start right now by obtaining a Personal Identification Number that you’ll need to complete the no-cost FAFSA application.
After you get your PIN, you can start your FAFSA online application.
The FAFSA online application includes step-by-step instructions to complete it.
