COMMUNITY INVITED TO 2ND ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT, A FREE EVENT HOSTED BY COMPUTER CAREER CENTER, A DIVISION OF VISTA COLLEGE

Bring the whole family for a safe and fun night that includes trick or treating, games, activities, and a showing of “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

 

Las Cruces, NM – October 21, 2013 – Computer Career Center, a Division of Vista College, invites the community to the 2nd Annual TRUNK or TREAT (FREE) on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. , on campus, at 850 N. Telshor Blvd., Las Cruces.  Activities include a haunted house; bounce house; face painting; a special showing of “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and trunk or treating, which is trick or treating from decorated vehicle trunks that will also feature games.  Additionally, Vista College’s new spokesperson, Austin Trout, a native of Las Cruces and former World Boxing Association Light Middleweight Champion, will be on hand signing autographs.

“The students, faculty, and staff are so excited to host our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event for the community,” said Erin Jeffries, Career Services Director, Computer Career Center, a Division of Vista College.  “We started this event last year as a way to give back to the community and provide a safe and family friendly alternative to trick or treating in neighborhoods.  We appreciate Mr. Trout and the local businesses partnering with us this year, and look forward to another wonderful event!”

Candy, cotton candy and popcorn will be available throughout the evening at no charge.  Local businesses participating in Trunk or Treat include EPOCH Behavioral Health, Las Cruces Biological, Legal Shield, and Tom Young’s Racquet Club.   For more information, call Computer Career Center, A Division of Vista College, at 575-556-1080.
